MANILA, Philippines — The variety of aftershocks following the magnitude 7.0 earthquake in Abra is now at 808, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) stated Thursday morning.
Of the aftershocks, 126 have been plotted, whereas 24 have been recorded, in line with Phivolcs as of seven:00 a.m.
Phivolcs stated the aftershocks ranged in magnitude from 1.5 to five.0.
The company earlier warned to count on aftershocks for a number of days and even months, after classifying the magnitude 7 tremor in Abra as a “main earthquake.”
